Life After – August 2020

13/08/2020 (Thursday) – Headache, Sore throat. Cough not as bad. Moving stuff out of harms way so the painters can move furniture, etc to paint the walls. Finessing Blog content.

14/08/2020 (Friday) – Headache, Sore throat. Cough. Woke at dark o’clock last night felt like my throat was on fire. Had a drink of water to put the flames out. Completed the Hancock Agriculture WHS EOM Reports.
Going to Victor HarbourEncounter Bay tonight, for the week while the painters paint the entire interior of our house.

As I was packing the Narna putting the last bits in the fucking Bigglet slipped his halter and shot out of the house and off like a bullet down the road again with Sandy in pursuit. She was terrified the little prick would get run over, as he has no road sense. Fortunately there were some young people who helped catch him. Poor Sandy was beside herself because when Biggles goes he goes and as I said she was terrified he would get run over particularly as last night she dreamt he got out and got hit by a car just prior to us leaving for Encounter Bay.

None-the-less we secured Biggles in the back seat of the Narna and hit the road, as it was getting late we stopped at Kentucky Fried in Victor Harbour to pick up a couple of dinner boxes to have upon arrival at our accommodation at Encounter Bay.

I requested that the potato and gravy in the dinner boxes be replaced with coleslaw and was told that would be OK, so I though great at least a bit of “healthy” stuff and lo-and-behold when Sandy and I went to have our meal…NO coleslaw and NO potato and gravy either fucking unbelievable. Figures!

Other than that the accommodation is quite nice, pet friendly with a great outlook overlooking a little lake.

15/08/2020 (Saturday) – Headache, Sore throat. Cough is being managed by using the Amsol Inhaler. Both Sandy and I have had rather loose bowels today, even the Bigglet had five craps that were not quite as they would be normally, suspect it may be as a result of having KFC, something we don’t usually have.
Took Biggles for a walk around the lake, spent some time reading Malcolm Turnbull – A Bigger Picture. (not a bad read).

Started checking Oxygen saturation and Heart Rate today and will do every day from now on, adding data into my Excel Chemotherapy – Immunotherapy Spreadsheet. I will average them out over each month to get a monthly comparison.

16/08/2020 (Sunday) – Headache, Sore throat. Cough.  Sandy and I took Biggles around the lake again this morning and had another walk this afternoon, struggling with the hilly environment here in Encounter Bay.

17/08/2020 (Monday) – Headache, Sore throat. Cough not as bad. Went for a walk around the suburb. All hills, just about knackered myself, very hard yakka! Had a look at some blocks around Victor Harbour and surrounding burbs.

18/08/2020 (Tuesday) – Headache, Sore throat. Cough not as bad. Debbie and Phil came down to Victor Harbour last night and are coming over to our accomodation at Encounter Bay this morning to share some Sourdough Bread that Deb cooked for us. Had a really nice morning chatting with Deb and Phil as well as eating the bread (fruit sourdough and standard) both very yum!
Took Biggles for a walk around the lake and up the road…very difficult, even the smallest gradient leaves me so short of breath.
